Telescopes and binoculars definitely help you to see more distant objects, or fainter parts of the night sky – however there is so much you can see with the naked eye.
- Constellations
- The Moon
- Planets
- Comets
- Meteor Showers
- The “Northern Lights” (although you get them in the south too 🙂 )
- The International Space Station
I’ll keep adding more and more to this site – I hope you enjoy it.
Hi Mark! I recently bought myself a simple telescope to see the sky better, but find it a bit hard to use – so used to binoculars I guess. A tripod is a must of course. My dream is to one day have a really good telescope, preferably stationary and so always ready to use. By the way, I really enjoy reading your site!
